The heart of this full-service folding knife is its stout CPM® S30V® stainless steel blade, which features a saber grind, a dramatic swedge (unsharpened back bevel), and both Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole™ and a Cobra Hood™ for swift, positive, one-handed opening with either hand.

The blade is housed in an ergonomic handle shaped to “bracket” the hand and ensure a rock-solid grip in even the most demanding conditions. Full stainless steel liners provide exceptional structural strength and are the basis of the knife’s patented Compression Lock® mechanism. They also serve as the foundation for textured black G-10 scales and a reversible hourglass pocket clip that supports tip-up carry on either side of the body. Both the liners and scales are skeletonized with a matching series of holes to reduce weight and increase grip security. This detail complements the handle’s lightweight, open-backed construction style to optimize the balance of the knife and simplify cleaning and maintenance.
