The Bestech Knives Ivy is a new offering from the designer Ostap Hel. The Ivy features a sculpted anodized titanium handle, sculpted titanium pocket clip, and a shallow hawkbill style blade. Ostap Hel took on the hawkbill blade shape because it is a fairly uncommon blade profile to see on production knives, especially not on front flippers. At 3″ long with a very elegant curve this hawkbill is far more utilitarian than most others. You will notice as the name suggests, in the open position the knife resembles a creeping ivy vine.
