Titanium Liners
All liners and frames are constructed using knife maker grade 5, 6AL4V titanium that has been precision ground flat.
Carbidized Lock Faces
All RHKW knives feature carbidized lock faces which prevent premature lock face wear as well as insuring a smooth unlocking motion. This is achieved by essentially welding a very thin layer of tungsten carbide to the face of the lock bar. We believe that the Devil is in the details and this is one fine detail that ensures a solid knife for ages.
Bearing Action
All RHKW knives utilize Alpha Knife Supply precision stainless bearings for the opening and closing action. Constructed of stainless steel cages and 440C ball bearings, these are the highest end method of action that is unmatched in quality and durability.
Precision Pivots by Alpha Knife Supply
Made of 416 stainless steel, vacuum heat-treated to 42RC and machined to .0002 tolerances, these are the finest pivots available today.
Precision Stainless Stand Offs
All RHKW knives come standard equipped with stainless steel stand offs, machined within .0001 of an inch to ensure proper construction. These stand offs save weight, allow easy cleaning and easy field striping/reassembly.
154CPM Steel is Heat Treated to 59RC Hardness and Cryo-Treated
All RHKW blades are heat treated in house in small batches for quality control in our digitally controlled kilns. Each blade is then tested for proper Rockwell hardness. This is the highest form of quality control in the knife world.
